Jinky Dolar joined Solsken as an Advertising & Marketing Consultant, serving diverse communities. As a senior account executive at Crossings TV, a multicultural television station serving the growing Chinese, Russian, Filipino, Vietnamese, Hmong, South Asian and Japanese communities throughout California, Jinky is ranked as the top advertising executive at the station. Prior to joining Crossings TV, Jinky spent more than 10 years at the McClatchy Group with the Sacramento Bee as a distribution center and sales manager where she led many successful efforts to increase print circulation, memberships and business partnerships.
Jinky plays an active role in the Sacramento region community and holds positions statewide. She serves on the board for many diverse organizations such as the Asian Pacific Rim Heritage Foundation, Hmong Women Heritage Association and Safe Kids California, where she helps promote leadership, civic participation and education. Jinky is currently the executive vice president for OCA Sacramento, Chair for the Dragon Boat Festival Celebration and vice chair for the Legislative Reception at the Capitol, Day of Inclusion at the Capitol, Youth Hate Crime, API Women's Luncheon and Market Faire Business Advisory Council. Jinky's commitments do not end there, she also serves as a committee member for Filipino Fiesta of Sacramento and Operation Yolanda (Philippine Typhoon).
Jinky's an avid activist in anti-domestic violence, mental health awareness, Asian American issues and civil rights including ending human trafficking. She is passionate about supporting local non-profit organizations that serve the underserved the communities by connecting them to key grant opportunities and valuable partnerships.
Jinky's work has been recognized recently for her community involvement. She was the recipient of OCA's National Unsung Heroes Award in 2014 and My Sister's House Volunteer of the Year Award in 2013.
