Anna founded Solsken Public Relations & Marketing in 2008 and brings more than two decades of public relations and advertising expertise to her firm. Having spent 20+ years honing her communications and marketing skills in a diverse breadth of industries, Anna is an expert at developing and implementing communication strategies for government, non-profit and technology campaigns, regionally and globally.
As the agency's principal, Anna believes in a very hands-on approach. She personally works with every client and is involved in every agency project. Her expertise provides her with a unique background that enables her to serve clients in a wide range of capacities and fields, from B2B technology and consumer products to social marketing initiatives and branding campaigns to targeted outreach to diverse Asian communities and niche audiences.
Prior to Solsken, Anna was as an account supervisor at Runyon Saltzman, Inc. There, she managed key agency accounts, spearheading the multi-cultural business, overseeing public relations projects and supported with advertising. Anna also worked at Montoya Communications Inc., managing national accounts, most notably a national campaign for Del Monte Foods changing consumer behaviors and driving sales, and California's instrumental Teen Pregnancy Prevention initiative.
Active in her community and a strong believer in education, Anna has served as president of the local Parent Teachers Association and the Natomas Schools Foundation. She spearheaded a grassroots campaign that successfully brought an International Baccalaureate Program to her local high school, earning her a feature in N Magazine as a "Women of Note" and numerous awards from the California State Senate, California State Assembly and Sacramento City Council. She is passionate about improving public education, ending domestic violence and human trafficking and eliminating mental health stigma; she also serves in many non-profit capacities to support these initiatives.
Anna earned her bachelor's degree in communication studies and a master's degree in public policy and administration at California State University, Sacramento.
Galcy is passionate about educating, enriching and empowering AAPI communities throughout California, coordinating with key Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community-based organizations and ethnic media to engage and drive awareness in hard-to-reach niche communities. Prior to joining Solsken, she served as the editor of the Asian Pacific Review at CSU Fresno, where she discovered a love for storytelling and engaging AAPI communities. A Fresno native, Galcy believes in giving back to her community, having served as a community liaison for Fresno’s diverse AAPI communities in the various positions she’s held at The Fresno Center, Hmong Innovating Politics, K-Pop TV and the Asian Business Institute and Resource Center. Bi-lingual and well-connected in the Asian community, Galcy brings personal and professional experience reaching diverse AAPI audiences.
Galcy received a bachelor’s degree in print journalism with a minor in Asian American studies from the California State University, Fresno.
Michelle manages advertising campaigns at Solsken. She works closely with each client to bring the campaigns she manages to life, from conception to transadaption to final creative design, ensuring campaign success. Prior to Solsken, she was the marketing lead and general manager at Red Door Escape Room, building momentum behind the company’s corporate brand in northern California. Michelle thrives on building personalized experiences and storytelling, translating well to creating compelling content adapted to client needs. In her spare time, she can be found catching up on her latest fantasy novel or unwinding with a story-rich video game.
Jinky Dolar joined Solsken as an Advertising & Marketing Consultant, serving diverse communities. As a senior account executive at Crossings TV, a multicultural television station serving the growing Chinese, Russian, Filipino, Vietnamese, Hmong, South Asian and Japanese communities throughout California, Jinky is ranked as the top advertising executive at the station. Prior to joining Crossings TV, Jinky spent more than 10 years at the McClatchy Group with the Sacramento Bee as a distribution center and sales manager where she led many successful efforts to increase print circulation, memberships and business partnerships.
Jinky plays an active role in the Sacramento region community and holds positions statewide. She serves on the board for many diverse organizations such as the Asian Pacific Rim Heritage Foundation, Hmong Women Heritage Association and Safe Kids California, where she helps promote leadership, civic participation and education. Jinky is currently the executive vice president for OCA Sacramento, Chair for the Dragon Boat Festival Celebration and vice chair for the Legislative Reception at the Capitol, Day of Inclusion at the Capitol, Youth Hate Crime, API Women's Luncheon and Market Faire Business Advisory Council. Jinky's commitments do not end there, she also serves as a committee member for Filipino Fiesta of Sacramento and Operation Yolanda (Philippine Typhoon).
Jinky's an avid activist in anti-domestic violence, mental health awareness, Asian American issues and civil rights including ending human trafficking. She is passionate about supporting local non-profit organizations that serve the underserved the communities by connecting them to key grant opportunities and valuable partnerships.
Jinky's work has been recognized recently for her community involvement. She was the recipient of OCA's National Unsung Heroes Award in 2014 and My Sister's House Volunteer of the Year Award in 2013.
Jane joins Solsken San Diego as an Analyst & Market Intelligence Consultant specializing in monitoring technology trends, including but not limited to telecom and optical networking.
Still very active in the telecom and optical networking industry, Jane continues to work with researchers to monitor market intelligence, staying on top of the competitive landscape and strategic competitive developments to provide industry intelligence to clients. At Solsken, she plays a critical role in evaluating and assessing market research for client accounts, offering in-depth market forecasts and market share analysis to help clients gauge the market and respond to current market trends. From monitoring market intelligence to developing research and competitive market briefs to managing analyst briefings and developing industry metrics to support our client's sales, Jane provides invaluable market intelligence and analysis to clients in the telecoms and optical network industry.
Prior to joining Solsken, Jane led analyst relations and market intelligence activities for the corporate marketing team at Infinera, actively staying on top of the competitive landscape. She also supported business operations with pricing analysis to provide the sales team with approved discount structures based on corporate margin and competitive environment. To streamline Infinera's operations, Jane implemented process improvements that led to improved business systems with frequent review of approval guidelines from the executive team, ensuring optimal deal cycle times without compromising analytical review.
Jane is passionate about her community and giving back, dedicating her personal time to serve non-profit organizations that help the local community. She is a former board member for the Bay Area chapter of Kids Against Hunger, a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding starving children, and a former board member and supporter of StreetWise, a non-profit organization based in the greater Spokane area that serves free meals to homeless and economically disadvantaged families. Currently, Jane volunteers her time writing grants to fund Brother Benno's Center, a non-profit organization that provides aid to the homeless community in San Diego North County.

Prior to Solsken, she served as the Editor-in-Chief at Russian American Media Company where she honed her skills designing effective advertisements and compelling content that resonated with audiences.
Olga received a bachelor's degree in nutrition with a minor in graphic design from the Technical University of Moldova and a master’s degree in general medicine from the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Moldova. When she’s not working, Olga enjoys traveling and cooking healthy meals for her family.
Emily brings her marketing knowledge and passion for empowering multicultural, underserved communities to every account she supports as a senior account coordinator at Solsken. Growing up in Fresno as a Hmong American has provided her with first-hand knowledge and insights into the cultural norms and practices of California’s diverse AAPI community, enabling her to successfully engage with culturally diverse and hard-to-reach populations. Prior to joining Solsken, Emily spearheaded community outreach, market research studies and test subject recruitment to provide critical insights into niche markets.
Emily received a bachelor's degree in media communications and journalism with an emphasis in advertising with a minor in Humanities from the California State University, Fresno.
